Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Information at Horus University, and in the presence of faculty members and assistant staff, the first scientific seminar in the Faculty’s Research Seminar Series was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Seminar Hall in the Faculty premises.

The seminar was presented by Researcher Donia El-Sherbiny Abdel Hakim El-Sherbiny, Assistant Lecturer in the Basic Sciences Department at the Faculty, under the title:
“Dynamic Properties of Some Distributed Delay Models”

The seminar addressed the study and analysis of the dynamic properties of certain distributed delay models, explaining the difference between ordinary delay and distributed delay and the importance of using distributed models in scientific applications. It also highlighted the impact of fractional order on these models.

The Dean concluded the meeting by thanking the researcher for her outstanding presentation and emphasized the continuation of scientific seminars for all assistant staff members at a rate of twice per month, as these seminars are an integral part of academic life for researchers.
