Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics at Horus University, inaugurated the first session of the Faculty Council in the presence of distinguished external members: 

Eng. Shaimaa El-Seddik, Deputy Governor of Damietta 
Eng. Ibrahim Hassanien, Head of the Engineers Syndicate in Dakahlia 
The session was also honored by the presence of Horus University leaders: 

• Prof. Dr. El-Said Abdelhady, President of the University 
• Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Shenawy, Member of the Board of Trustees 
• Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Vice President of the University 
• Prof. Dr. Mohamed Dabboun, Vice President of the University 

The Dean of the Faculty began the session by welcoming the distinguished guests and expressing gratitude to Prof. Dr. Yasser Fouad, former Dean of the Faculty, for his dedicated efforts during his tenure. This was followed by a brief presentation of the achievements accomplished by the faculty over the past month. The agenda items were then discussed with the esteemed council members, and the session concluded with an introduction to potential cooperation areas with Damietta Governorate, strengthening the faculty’s role in community service. 

Eng. Shaimaa El-Seddik, Deputy Governor of Damietta, thanked the council, expressed her delight at being a member of the Faculty Council, and presented several outstanding proposals for future cooperation between the faculty and the governorate in the field of Artificial Intelligence and its applications. 

Eng. Ibrahim Hassanien, Head of the Engineers Syndicate in Dakahlia, also expressed his pleasure at joining the Faculty Council and announced the initiation of procedures to establish a cooperation protocol between the Syndicate and the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, along with proposals for practical collaborations. 

The session concluded with sincere thanks from the Dean of the Faculty to all attendees, emphasizing that the recent achievements would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the faculty team—including faculty members, teaching assistants, and administrative staff—who demonstrated high levels of efficiency and commitment.
